Bloggers Block?!
Alright guys…i knew it was coming…but its official…i dont know what to blog about…i mean, trust me, there are PLENTY of silly things going on in the world of the religious…but I want to blog from the heart here….so i need some help. I want you guys to comment here and give me topics that interest you…from technology, religion, apologetics, atheism, books, science, politics, conspiracy, 911 truth, or the occult…if it is in my realm of understanding i would be glad to answer any questions or blog about any topic you can provide. Im just stuck and I need inspiration…and im tired of hearing about McCain, Obama, and the Financial Crisis.

Let’s talk about Ron Paul’s hack campaign managers.
What it would take for you to believe in God again.
Robert
P.S. It feels like I’m stalking you, but that’s genuinely not my intention. Just drawn by the Fates, Karma, Bad Luck or whatever
@ Ron- Too depressing…but did i tell you i put my RP signs back out? one last week of support!—-ok im sad now
@ Robert: I like being stalked, my ego needs that. Now i just wish you were a red head with blue eyes and long legs—and female.
And i like the idea…its a bit played out…i think i have answered it before…but i will give it another go.
Hope your missus doesn’t read your blog Matt, or else she’d knock the fear of God into you for that comment!
Robert
she does read it…not the comments too often though
how can i convince her to work some polyandry into our relationship …any ideas robert?
see..she wont read that
Something on how to keep WordPress from overloading your servers. Or maybe how to use the cache thingy. Right now that would be my choice.
Matt, I read your extimony – moving stuff. But the question I posed above is different in a sense. For instance is it realistic to expect one’s world view to be without any paradox whatsoever? I’d really like to see you post on my question.
As for polyandry, don’t you mean polygyny?
I share your view about McCain, Obama and the financial crisis .. too much has already been written about those!
Unfortunately, I can’t suggest a topic. And saying that maybe you can rely on “divine inspiration” certainly wouldn’t work would it?
Cheers!
@ BJ: I will do that, of course…that is…if you will accept my entrecard advert!!!!!! jeesh i need traffic here!
@robert: Im working on it.
and i mean open marriage or something like that…and im just kidding i think.
@ robin: If i were to ask god to help me, and he were to give me an answer…it would simply be my own emotional frailty answering questions that i already understand. But thanks anyway
I’d like to see you blog about yourself more.
Or, you know what, the Occult. Definitely stick to what you know, and you know a LOT about that. Always fascinating to see what you have to say about the Occult, and always fascinating to start up a conversation with you about that.
What do you know about Buddhism? I’ve only read a little about it, but apparently Buddha did not encourage worship of any god or of him.
Here’s a thought. How about writing about the fact that most Churches and Christians represent Christ and the gospel in a very poor manner, AND how the Bible itself speaks clearly to this very issue?
I am a serious, committed Christian, and I too am very repulsed by all the phoniness and hypocrisy in the Churches.
Does this make Christ and the gospel untrue? Certainly not.
There have been great minds who have set out to prove the faith and gospel false, yet have turned to Christ in the end. Why? Because they carefully examined the overwhelming evidence, and changed their course.
Most people make up their minds based on unfounded opinions, or on what they see in “Christians”. Very dangerous path.
@ cetta: thats a broad one…anything specific?
@ lea: Thanks for the comment, sadly, Buddhism is not in my realm of religious studies…I intend to get around to it one day—but even whilst learning apologetics I never had the need to learn about it. I think you are right though, Buddha didn’t ask for praise from what I understand.
@ Gene: I tried to be one of the real Christians—i know how frustrating it is to see non-genuine christians with very little understanding of their own faith ruining what the “church” was meant to be. I think though, if you look at your faith critically enough, eventually it will break down and fall apart—I am sure there are tons of old posts from my Livejournal as a christian that would express this feeling. but the fact is…..Good atheists dont need bad christians to exist, the Bible does all of it’s own deconstructing.
Is your Livejournal still around?
Robert
yes robert, i imported the entire thing to this blog, check the archives…its also still online @ http://revoxley501.livejournal.com
just, you know, watch out….the language is very strong around 2005-2006 era
I could suggest a few topics and definitely ask a bazillion questions… but I haven’t read your archives, so you’ve probably covered lots of stuff so far.
I’ll ask one anyway. I’d be interested in reading about your journey to becomming a Christian, and then your journey away from Christianity. What was it that made you believe so strongly, and then not believe so strongly?
Do you have any doubts that you could be wrong?
I’d really like to see you try to rationalize the supposed power of the occult, without anything to balance it out (like say, Christianity, or even just God in general).
hmmm good one cetta
