Cardinal Sins of the Internet
Just note
never …never ever ever ever ever….ever give away a major plot point in a forum/facebook/myspace bulletin post of anything like that. never ever…ever. never
I am reading Eclipse from the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer—the third out of four books in the series.
someone, whom will remain completely nameless just gave a HUUUUGE plot point away in her status and i read it before i could stop myself.
i dont even know what else to say.
I’m just dumbfounded.
By the way, I know it sounds dumb, 22 year old man, hardened atheist reading a teenage vampire love story—but ITS REALLY FREAKING GOOD.

I don’t reckon you’re so hardened (yet). That’s what I like about you.
I enjoyed the Twilight movie so I’ve started reading the books, I’m probably a third of the way through the first book and so far I don’t know if I’ll finish because something about her writing style is driving me crazy. Maybe she’s a little too good at writing the way a teenage girl thinks.
Lots of atheists read fantasy and sci-fi, so you are in good company.
You don’t have to convince me. I’m halfway through New Moon right now.
Isn’t someone supposed to announce they are going to do a spoiler when they do that? Silly people…
Read what you want, it’s your right.
I read your blog the other day…you’re entertaining. Looking forward to getting to know you better
Lol! Sounds like my bf. He doesn’t even read books & yet I find him sneaking off with my Twilight books and reading them ’til 4am! He’s on Team Jacob btw coz he thinks werewolves are way cooler than the vampires.
I got hooked onto the books after watching the movie (not ashamed to admit I went another 6 times. Lol!).
It’s just my luck that Eclipse is sold out everywhere in my city. That’s the only one I haven’t read
Those books have crack on the pages! I’ve read them all.
I would say oops? But really, it comes down to: ARGH!
I suppose that spoilers are just one of those weird ways that popular cultural media enforces itself onto the public mindset.
I have a friend who unknowingly and unintentionally gives away spoilers, I scolded her once for that. LOL.
The Twilight Saga is great except for 1 book that I found irritating.
If there’s anyone out there who is reading the Bible: Don’t worry! I won’t tell you that Jesus dies. Oh, oops..
OHHHNOOOOOOOOOES YOU GAVE AWAY THE ENDING!
