Oh well I reckon No on to my defense: Obama? I think when people benefit from a free service they may be willing to pitch in and help out...Obama isn't offering rewards for proficiency. The fact is we need other people to help us with this, we are offering a reward for that help on top of offering the completely free service of Entrecard. We are already doing the jobs ourselves...one thing we need to do is get caught up with a massive amount of spam blogs that are hindering the entrecard experience because for a long time, quite frankly, they were ignored...right now we have 4 volunteer moderators and over 40,000 blogs to look though so that Entrecard can be better marketed and increase in value to both the user and outsiders that may be interested in joining. We volunteered for this job, not for glory...because...well...there really isn't any is there? If so I have yet to receive it...other than a few thank you's and such (all of which I appreciate). There is no money involved, minimal glory, and a gigantic amount of headache and stress...WHY did we volunteer to do this? I can say from my conversations with the mods that we chose to do this because we believe the Entrecard is unrivaled in its potential to promote small time blogs and help them become respected blogs that are read all over the world...we want to see it succeed so that we and you can succeed. We are not just relegating all the work to the users, most of the responsible and respected users already report terms violations daily...we just want to get everyone involved in improving the system as well as promote an understanding of our standards and terms. We are still doing a LOAD of work just for the sake of helping everyone...it won't kill you to help us do that...if not...don't help...no tears shed here so who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?
