May experience some major latency on my site for the rest of today, the Wordpress automatic upgrade to 2.7.1 screwed something up and wont complete…im workin on it…be patient.

had a short outage this morning here at RagingRev.com…i was pretending like i knew what in the hell i was doing with all this PHP stuff, and deleted the posts.php file in my directory because i was having trouble getting it to show up in 2.7 or wordpress. here’s a hint: bad idea. I ended up having to completely reinstall wordpress…wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, and I didnt lose anything—thanks to wordpress.org for being geniuses and making it so easy to fix.

so don’t go round deleting files on your server unless you are far smarter than I.

Anticipate some downtime tommorow on the blog, Wordpress 2.7 should be releasing tommorow. In the mean time I would like to have anyone that reads this blog comment below with answers to the following questions:

1: What is your belief system? Atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan etc etc…be as detailed as you like, even tell us why if you wish. You dont have to be a frequent commenter to answer.

2: How much do you think your environment growing up had to do with the eventual embrace of your current faith? IE: Did your Christian parents likely influence you in your current beliefs? etc

1: Lotto ticket saturday won me 20 bucks.

2:I won the gigantic bloggaversary contest at the SimplyWP blog.  I actually won the first prize, which is awesome, details after the break!

3:I won the contest at TechByPC and got 785 Credits (this contest is weekly, so go read up on how to join now). I dont see a graphic to use or I would post it too…thanks to TechByPC for that!

4: Adgitize gave me a free months advertisement for participating in one of their contests. Woot!

normally..i never win anything—maybe I should keep playing the lotto and entering contests eh?

an FYI to my visitors and friends…i am working on a new blog to replace this blog…might have me quiet for a bit…going for wordpress style blogging with more customization…my own URL and stuff like that…maybe generate some cash (sorely needed)

if anyone has any suggestions as to a good name for the blog and the URL please let me know
